Love Beauty & Planet

Love Beauty and Planet is a company with one simple goal: “whatever we do must be good for beauty and give a little love to the planet.” They make skin and hair care products like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner that are naturally derived, good for you and the planet. I love how pretty their labels are and the different tonality signifying the different scents and ingredients in each product.

I was hired to create some fresh, bright, and elevated brand imagery for Love Beauty and Planet to use in their marketing materials for their classic line of shampoo and conditioner. They requested the imagery to utilize natural lighting and props, tone-on-tone backdrops when possible, and showcase the product in a natural, lifestyle setting.

I loved creating these product photos for their brand in my studio here in Tacoma. I used Replica Surfaces to create these bathroom-looking sets without having to find physical rooms that lined up with each color and I used props and light styling that also enhanced the color messaging where possible.

I am so pleased with how these lifestyle brand images turned out and had so much fun creating them too! It’s an honor to shoot photos for household brand names like this one and I can’t wait to see them put these images to good use in their marketing materials!
