Stylish Product Photography for Modern Home Organization Brand

Brand Overview

3x3 Seattle, a local women-owned business dedicated to creating stylish and functional home organization solutions. Their mission is to simplify busy lives without compromising on design.

Project Objective

To create a series of images that showcased the versatility and aesthetic appeal of the FitCheck wall rack, a modular system designed to organize various items. The goal was to demonstrate how the product could be customized to fit different spaces and lifestyles.

Production Challenges

Capturing the product in a real-life setting without damaging the studio walls. The challenge was to find a creative solution to hang the wall rack and style it in a way that was both functional and visually appealing.

Creative Process

To overcome this challenge, I collaborated with the client to develop a unique approach. We used a large piece of plywood covered in white butcher paper to simulate a wall. The FitCheck wall racks were then securely screwed into the plywood, and the entire board was mounted to the wall using heavy-duty command strips.

By utilizing this technique, we were able to create a variety of compositions, showcasing the product in different configurations and styled with various accessories. The final images were edited to seamlessly blend the plywood board with the studio wall, creating the illusion of a real installation.

This project highlights the importance of creative problem-solving and collaboration between photographer and client. By working together, we were able to overcome the challenges and create a series of images that effectively communicated the product's benefits and aesthetic appeal.
