Samsonite, a global leader in travel luggage and accessories. Samsonite creates innovative and sustainable products that elevate the way we travel. According to Samsonite’s website, their “purpose is to pack confidence into every single journey and believes that the people who experience the world will move it forward.”

Project Objective

To highlight Samsonite's new, affordable luggage collection, targeting a younger, more style-conscious audience who prefers a minimalist aesthetic and quality products. The goal was to create a series of images that showcased the products in real-life scenarios, highlighting their functionality and aesthetic appeal.

 
 

Production Challenges

Finding new and innovative ways to photograph Samsonite products in a familiar location. I had already shot for Samsonite numerous times in my small city and there are only a few hotel lobbies and downtown streets to pick from.

Creative Process

I selected an open-air art space for this shoot, recognizing that its modern, dynamic backdrop would perfectly complement the collection’s aspirational, minimalistic appeal. Focusing on functionality and style, I created dynamic images of the luggage in use by a model representing the target audience, showcasing its functionality and style in a variety of travel scenarios.

By incorporating a mix of unique angles, I was able to create a series of images that effectively communicated the brand's commitment to innovation and style.
