Visual Marketing Recommendations for Small Businesses in Tacoma, WA
I get asked all the time for recommendations of other small businesses in the visual and marketing space for services that I don’t offer. And so, in the spirit of community over competition, here is my list of small businesses that I like to refer jobs out to. These businesses are mostly women-owned and mostly local to the Tacoma, WA area. I would gladly collaborate with any of these businesses to create the perfect marketing content for your brand!
Web Design:
Cari Schindler: Cari has been a dear friend for years. She specializes in brand consulting & graphic design but also works on digital marketing such as website and e-mail campaigns. Her branding is super comprehensive and she has a lot of knowledge around this subject (check out this blog collaboration we put together to see!)
Dusty Hegge: Dusty specializes in Squarespace design and I love her simple, clean designs.
Made to Thrive: Lindsay and her small team are proficient in WordPress and Shopify sites.
Graphic Design:
Madeline Timm: I’ve literally known Madeline forever and ever since I can remember she’s been a talented artist. She specializes in graphic design and illustration. I would especially recommend Madeline if you’re looking for a logo that includes watercolor and is more on the delicate side.
Trish Mahoney: Trish and I have worked together on a number of occasions, but most notably, she designed my own brand identity. She is another talented graphic designer and illustrator. I would describe her style as bold, clean, and fun.
Videography:
Laura Nyhuis: Laura is local to Tacoma and looking to work with more small businesses to create videos that increase conversion rates and sales!
Taylor Hawkins: Taylor has a pretty impressive resume, from commercial shoots for Microsoft and Nike to winning the Tacoma Film Festival’s “Best Regional” and “Local Audience Choice” awards for a short film. He loves to shoot raw, documentary-style films and has a big vision for his films.
Jordan Swenson: Jordan works for Fosters Creative, but he is also taking side jobs for local small businesses.
Brand Development and Content Strategy:
Rachelle Cummings: If you are either a new business looking to develop your brand strategy or just looking for help with content strategy in general you should reach out to Rachelle. She is kind and passionate about creative arts.
Full-Service Marketing Agencies:
Fosters Creative: Local to Tacoma, and a great option to go with for a full-service marketing team.
M Agency: M Agency is a woman-owned, Tacoma local, full-service marketing agency. They put out top-notch work.
Rotator Creative: My friend Adam is a partner at Rotator and also their creative director. The team at Rotator has done some super awesome things in Tacoma. If you are looking for an outside-the-box creative marketing idea this is the team for you.
