7 Questions to Ask When Planning a Photoshoot for Your New Product or Service Launch

Launching a new product or service can be a stressful process. Am I right?! There is a lot of work to get your product or service ready for launch, not to mention the marketing copy to write, emails to send, and social media promotions to post. And then there’s the wondering if it will even be a successful launch.

I get it and I’ve been there with my business too! But I’ve also been there for countless other brands as they launch new products and services successfully into the world!

How can I help? Brand photography is essential to a successful launch! How can you show how great your product is without it? You’ll need purposeful imagery for each one of those marketing emails and ad campaigns you run for your launch. And you need that imagery to look professional so people take you seriously!

I know it sounds daunting, but having worked with lots and lots of brands in the past I’ve got an organized system for making sure your imagery is on-brand, purposeful, and exactly what you need to portray to your audience so that your launch is a success!

My clients repeatedly tell me that brand photography is the single most important investment they have ever made for their business and this can be your success story too!

You can book a brand photoshoot by contacting me here, but that's not the only reason I’m writing today. I also want to leave you with some extra value.

As you contact me and we start planning your brand photoshoot for your new product or service launch, here are some helpful questions to think through so that we make sure we have all our ducks in a row and are prepared for your photoshoot.

7 Questions to ask when planning a photoshoot for your new product or service launch:

  1. What do I hope to accomplish with this launch? (Or what are my goals for this launch?)

  2. How many products/services am I launching?

  3. What is the vibe of this collection of products or services? (ie. Is it seasonal? Is it a high-end, luxury item? Is it a budget option? etc.)

  4. Where will I be advertising this launch?

  5. Who do I hope to reach with this product/service/launch? (Or who is my ideal customer/target audience?)

  6. Where do I want the photoshoot to take place? (If you don’t have a specific location in mind write down the type of vibe for it. ie. light and bright studio, cozy home, etc.)

  7. What props will help people understand what the product/service is and how it would work for their lives?

While it’s not necessary to know the answers to all of these questions when you reach out to me to book your brand photoshoot, if you do, you will be way ahead of the curve! So what are you waiting for? Let’s start planning a brand photoshoot for your most successful launch yet!
