Brand Photography for Leading Healthcare Products
I recently had the opportunity to work with leading healthcare brand, Johnson & Johnson, to help them create imagery for their Polysporin Complete Ointment Product. The brand wanted to showcase its Polysporin Complete Ointment being applied to a minor wound in its core usage settings through lifestyle imagery. They specifically asked for images that showed kids in situations where they might have a little accident leading to using Polysporin, parents applying the product to kids or themselves, and images of parents packing the ointment into various bags to showcase the helpful nature of having the product on hand when out and about. In order to give the brand a variety of imagery and scenes, I shot some of the images in my studio with one set of models, utilizing a living room, kitchen, and bathroom scene to showcase the product. Then I met another set of models at a nearby beach for some on-location photos in a setting where you might need Polysporin. And lastly, I padded the gallery with just a couple of shots with my last set of models at a different park, including a playground and biking setup. I think these three different sets provided a lot of diverse imagery for the brand to use in all of the marketing channels. They loved the images so much that they hired me again to focus on a different product they produce (Hey, BandAid 👋) Despite these being fairly boring products, I loved the challenge it produced for me to think creatively about creating beautiful on-brand imagery that will help this brand sell its products. I really love how the imagery came out for this shoot and I am excited to create using the Bandaid product as well! Let me know what you think of this gallery in the comments!
