Brand Photography for Harbor Wholesale Foods

Brand photography should tell a story.

Not necessarily a complicated one, but should be some sort of brand narrative and it’s easy to forget that if you think you just need product photos. The story is what draws new customers in to buy. The story is what makes new customers identify with your brand. They are not actually buying a product, but a lifestyle.

The story of Mountain Fresh, a grab and go selection of foods distributed by Harbor Wholesale Foods, is that it is a fresh and healthy option for people on-the-go in the Pacific Northwest. It’s a fairly simple concept and here’s how we captured it.

We used three locations. First, a grocery store told the story of how easy it is for busy people on-the-go. Second, a park told the story of the healthy people getting out to enjoy nature with fresh, on-the-go snacks in the Pacific Northwest. Third, a kitchen environment showcased the products more closely while also incorporating fresh ingredients to show that it is a fresh and healthy option.

Here are a few of the photos I captured to tell this brand story for Harbor Wholesale Foods.
