8 Ways to Use Your Brand Photos

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: PROFESSIONAL BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY is more important than ever in this day and age of social media and online shopping!

Photography takes your brand to a whole new level, positioning you as an expert in your field, showing how your products are used in everyday life, giving your brand a personality and a vibe, and the list goes on.

So where should you be using your brand photos? I’ve put together a list of 8 places to use your brand photos that I think will be helpful for you.

  1. Website

This is probably the number one place your images should be. I like to think of a website as the front door to your business. It’s what your clients see before they even set foot in a physical shop or purchase anything from you. It is very important that your imagery looks professional and cohesive on your website for this reason. You should have a banner image, a headshot, product/service, and process images all on your website, in addition to some lifestyle imagery to sprinkle into your blog posts to make them more visually interesting.

  2. Social Media

Although pretty social media feeds aren’t quite as important as they used to be, it’s still nice to have pretty reel cover photos on Instagram, some personalized stock imagery to use when you are talking about your business, and professional headshots for your profile images. On Facebook and Linked In it’s also good to have a professional banner image for your page.

  3. Pinterest

Pinterest is a very visual search platform and so having professional images that you can make into graphics with Canva to promote on Pinterest is a must!

  4. Google

Google emails me ALL THE TIME to tell me about all the benefits of adding more photos to my Google business listing. It boosts your SEO as well as catches people’s eye as they search for businesses in your industry.

  5. E-mail

Email is still a huge part of marketing these days and pretty emails will always win in my book! Flodesk makes it easy to create emails with lots of visual interest using your brand photos!

  6. Digital Products

If you give away a free pdf to get people on your email list, you’ll also need imagery here. Or if you are a course creator, sell an ebook, etc. Professional brand imagery will uplevel any digital products you create to a whole new level!

  7. Print Materials

Your brand images will also look great on your business cards and give you an extra edge on flyers and other print marketing materials.

  8. Client Portal

If you use a client management system like Dubsado, you probably have a portal that your clients can log into. Add a banner image here and on your contracts, invoices, and proposals to come across as extra polished and professional!

Where are you using your brand photos right now? Need to get some updated photos to put in all the places?
