My vision for family photography is to capture authentic moments. I want you to remember how it felt when your baby was two and she would throw her arms around you and buried her face in your neck. I want to capture you being you and doing things you love, like baking cookies or hiking on the beach. I want to capture the relationships and the laughter that only happen when you are together.

What people are saying:

“I got my photos last week, thank you for the super quick turnaround! The photos are beautiful! The colors are just gorgeous. I am so pleased with how they came out! You made the whole process of shooting with squirmy little kids so low key and fun, we all really enjoyed it. I also loved the beautiful packaging on all of your materials, such a treat in my mailbox! Thank you for everything, we will definitely do another session sometime!”

“Thank you again! Everyone commented several times that they actually enjoyed that (even the boys!!) That’s saying a LOT! :-) ... You have a beautiful style and created treasures and memories that we will cherish! Thank you again!”

What to expect from your family session:

A family session starts with your vision. From picking a location that is meaningful to your family to clothes that you love, I will help you every step of the way.

Whether we shoot your session in your home or at a park, I always use natural light.

A session typically takes about an hour to shoot but every family is different so I make sure to take however much time I need to capture you well.

I will take a few posed pictures of everyone smiling at the camera but I focus on directed interactions and real moments.

My goal is to capture simple, authentic images of your relationship with each other.

After your session it usually takes me a week or two to process your images. I will contact you when your digital images are ready.

From start to finish I will be your personal stylist, child wrangler, memory catcher and friend.
